All our private room. Currently the first and only Hostel in Léon to offer this facility.
All our private rooms have recently re-furbished, private, bathrooms. The windows in every room provide a good amount of natural light and fresh air. The rooms are also equipped with a strong fan, a good bed, a comfortable mattress and some space to put your clothes. Fresh bedding is offered every other day. Towels are free and readily available as needed.
Location and Facilities:
Hostel Casa Ivana, located in the heart of Léon’s historic district, is just a short walk from several of the city’s main attractions including the Leon cathedral, (350 metres away), the main nightlife area and museums.

Nestled in a beautiful colonial-era building with a small colonial private garden, the property has 8 private rooms with recently re-furbished private bathrooms. We also have two 2 Dorm rooms.

Casa Ivana differs from other hostels in that the privacy and comfort of our guests is of the utmost importance.

The rooms are simple and very comfortable, all have access to free Wi-Fi and are offered at a very competitive price for the area especially with the traveller’s budget in mind.

The facilities include a re-furbished, open Kitchen, a café and bar, to enjoy a beer or soda with fellow travellers together with a games area offering a free Pool table and Dart Board plus a relaxing colonial garden with Hammocks.

We also offer tourism information and can arrange competitively priced tours which are tailored to suit our guests needs….for example Volcano Boarding at the Cerro Negro….an exhilarating challenge!

Please Note;

Cancellation policy: 48 h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Late Arrivals.

For your information if you have a reservation at Hostal Casa Ivana and you are arriving late in the evening in Leon, please inform the Bus/Shuttle driver that the hostel is located very close to the centre of Leon.

We are right next to the Municipal Theatre.

The reception is manned 24 hours a day for reservation check-in.

If the wooden doors are closed (usually after 10:00pm) there is a “night bell” on the right hand side of the door. If you ring the bell our security guard will open the doors and will be happy to check you in.
