HI Hostel Viseu - Pousada de Juventude has the particularity of being 10 minutes from the city center and next to the Fontelo Forest Park offers a privileged area of the Nature and practice of physical and leisure activities and many sports competition.
We stay at Rua Aristides Sousa Mendes, 2 km from the bus stop and 16 Km from the Train station.
The Youth Hostel of Viseu has accommodation capacity of 66 beds and also rooms with private bathroom, bed linen, towels. We offer free breakfast, free Wi-Fi and a shared living room with TV.

Really clean and staff are very friendly

I am 65 years old and for me the private room was excellent, spacious, air conditioning, jug of water, twin beds, disabled toilet and shower. Very clean.
I did not need the disabled facilities, but it made me think of my disabled sister, who would have been able to stay without any trouble (but would have needed to be careful about the temperature of the shower). Excellent laundry facilities. Staff were helpful and answered my numerous questions. The pictures do not do the place justice.

Everything clean, adorable and staffs were really polite, enthusiastic and helpful. I would really recommend this hostel for friends and surely come back when need :)
