With its famous country style, garage service and homemade breakfast optional homemade sweets made with the fruits of our trees, freshly baked homemade breads, colonial cheeses of our area, coffee, cocoa, milk, juices, yoghurt, butter, traditional sweets and each day a surprise of our kitchen service of pizzas and homemade empanadas 24hs, service of drinks the 24hs, service without charge, ideal for families, couples and friends, certainly a different option to enjoy a few days in the beautiful city of Carmelo, our staff are waiting with the check-in available 24 hours and with check-out at 11am each day.

The hostel is a bit rough and ready, the kitchen area is quite poor with only one cooking hob on a camping gas. It's peaceful, and the AC in the room works well. The floor of the room could do with a clean. Unfortunately the wifi was down the whole time, so unable to comment on the signal strength. It would be good to have a key to get in / out independently. Also feel it's quite expensive for what you get compared to other hostels in Uruguay.

Somebody was in oír room although the door was locked. The window could not be locked.
The person stole money foreign bills from us. We told the owner. He told us he had observation cameras and would go to the police to check them. That was it. No more infos from him.
We left the next day although we had paid for another night.
No recommendation.
