TripOn Open House

Our funky Hostel TripOn Open House has a relaxed vibe. It is located in the best and safest area of San Jose, Costa Rica, in San Pedro, just 50 meters away from where the current Costa Rican president lives. Over 60 restaurants, 3 supermarkets, a mall, yoga schools and many banks are only a few minutes away. Downtown San Jose is within walking distance and the ride to Juan Santamaria International Airport only takes 30 minutes. We offer a cheap shuttle service from and to the airport. Of course we can be reached by bus as well.

Included in the price of your bed, and our very spacious kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, tableware etc.. all to make you feel like a chef inside the hostel!!

Our cosy garden with hammocks is a wonderful place to meet the other guests with interesting (travel) stories. Inside we have a pool table, an Play Station 4 and an AWESOME Retro Nintendo 64, a of course a big TV with Netflix and a balcony area.

To make you stay very comfortable our beds are equipped with curtains around the bed, electricity plugs, reading lamp, and a large locker with capacity for backpacks of more than 90lts.

They are aprox 7 bathrooms with hot shower all around the hostel, and of course we have RELIABLE WiFi throughout the entire building.

Since we understand Costa Rica is too beautiful to stay in our hostel all day we also offer tours. Questions about anything? Our friendly staff at the 24 hours-reception speaks (at least) English and Spanish.
