Prisamata is a HOSTEL with a young atmosphere, located in Bartolome Miter 833. All lodging rates include: Free Internet (with a powerful signal), a good breakfast and the use of all our facilities.
The house also has shared bathrooms, two exclusive bathrooms with shower included, and finally a sauna-type dressing room with 3 showers and 3 lavatories with hot water available 24 hours a day.
There is a shared refrigerator, the kitchen is large and equipped to cook any food: it has 4 burners and an industrial oven. We also have a microwave.
In the background there is a grill and a clay oven where many people have cooked all kinds of meals.
We have several common spaces where you can socialize (outdoor chairs and tables, entrance hall where there are puffs and Paraguayan hammocks), books and board games.
Ideal to share experiences and tips with other travelers.
Prisamata is a colonial house with spacious environments where you can enjoy the tranquility of the house, or the company of people who visit us from all over the world.
It is exactly around the corner of Balcarce Street, which is the area where all the nightlife is concentrated: from peñas, bars, clubs, discos, to artisan fairs on Sundays.
Among the different activities and places of interest we can find near our hostel:
- Train of the clouds to two streets
- Main square seven streets (8 minutes walking)
- ATMs to a street
- Bus Terminal at 15 blocks (18 minutes walking)
- Taxi can be taken at the door
- The airport is 35 minutes away.
We have a lot of experience in our city and we would like to help you in what you need so you can organize your trip and make the most of the time.
We have economic and personalized tours where you can visit: Cachi, Cafayate, Humahuaca and Salinas Grandes among other places.

I loved my stay at this hostel. People from different continents and backgrounds stay here, and mingle in a nice way. The staff felt like family, always very informative, caring and helpfull. They made me feel welcome, gave me advice and helped me find my way around. They just take a step extra, and that felt very hospitable. If I have to give a point of feedback, it is that the shower seemed to have a leak somewhere so water build up on the floor/wall quite quickly. I passed along the message.

Great for a night or two, staff are lovely and helpful. Free breakfast in the mornings is nice. Rooms were a little bit stuffy and bathrooms could be slightly nicer but a good hostel.

Great hostel with friendly 24 hour staff. Lots of common areas for lounging and a marge kitchen. Breakfast consists of tea & coffee from a machine (you need to pay for extra!), and either an omelette or a pancake. There was always hot water but the toilets were broken/not flushing at various points. Good do with a bit more cleaning. Good location & next to Balcacre & also a handy supermarket. There is a cat too! I would stay again.
