Saradh is a fantastic manager and host, incredibly attentive and helpful. The hostel is always kept immaculate, the price is reasonable and the hostel itself is very well located for the beach, bars and restaurants. I would choose to stay here again if I was to visit Mirissa in future

Hangover Hostel Mirissa is in a great location and good value for your money. However, the room and bathroom were very mouldy and there was only me and one other person in the hostel so the atmosphere wasn't amazing. That being said I was in the town during off season.

Wouldn’t recommend this place. It was an okay stay. The location is the best part about the hostel, it’s super close to the beach which is great. But the hostel is pretty run down and the staff are not very friendly and are unhelpful. We asked about food recommendations and they told us to just walk around and then when I inquired about surfing they gave no information. He was more concerned about asking us where we stayed in arugam bay and why his hostel there wasn’t busier.
