Clean room, really nice staff, directly at the tram connection that goes straight to the centre of town. Really enjoyed our stay.

I would not recommend this place. It was super sketchy and is not really close to anything in Strasbourg. My friends and I had to walk pretty far or take the tram to places. There is no hostel atmosphere here and if it weren't for being with my friends, I would not have been comfortable. However, the rooms were nicer than I expected.

It's good if you want a cheap hotel, but nothing more than that. Not in the heart of downtown Strasbourg, but also not a long tram ride away. Things weren't the cleanest/nicest (saw two bugs come out of the drain at separate times...), but the friendliness of the staff redeemed my perspective of Hotel Esplanade. Very eager to accommodate you and offer things to see and do while in Strasbourg! The room wasn't bad for the price but also not anything amazing.
