We chose this hostel mostly based on the location and the supposed on-site tourist info. We hadn't planned much of our Borneo trip and wanted to chat about our ideas. The location was great - particularly for island hopping but there was next to no tourist information. There was also no atmosphere and the facilities were basic (breakfast was a let down!) We stayed a night then moved on to Faloe Hostel which was incredible - like a home-from-home. Suggest you read reviews for that instead!

Girls at the front desk are a riot! Loved chatting with them. Staff are helpful & go above and beyond.
Only stayed there one night, but the 4 bed/2bunk bed room was well air conditioned and comfortable.
Washroom was well cleaned and staff was attentive to restocking.
Mattresses didn’t have protective covers under the liner though. To me that was a bit off-putting.
Common space wasn’t too bumpin’ from what I could see.
Appreciated how close a good restaurant and the 7eleven were though.
