Gar'is Kyiv Factory Hostel stands out for its creative design, comfort and soul.
The hostel is located near the Peyzazhna alley, allowing easy access as to the Andriyivsky descent, and to the main square Maidan Nezalezhnosti. Nearby hostel, our guests can find supermarkets like Silpo and Bdjilka (24/7). Many restaurants and cafes were they can have a rest.
Comfortable room with new beds and orthopedic mattresses. Individual light and outlets near each bed. There is a personal locker. Guests can use an equipped kitchen where everyone can prepare their own Breakfast, lunch or dinner. In our hostel opened 7 rooms with possibility to accommodate 36 guests.

Terrible experience I hope to never repeat again. I landed at 1am and informed the staff about my this. Due to a delay, I arrived around 2.30am . After ringing under heavy rain someone opened the door in underwear and asking very rude what I wanted. He informed me that I didnt get a reply about my late arrival and therefore I should have not take it as a yes. He gave my bed to someone else, he kicked off later (unofficial booking). I felt so unwelcomed, I left the next morning.

The place is great overall, it is 20 min walking distance to the closest subway station which may be a problem for travellers who dont like walking. Mustafa runs the place perfectly! Best host we have ever had.

Run down, insecure, one overworked and innapropriate staff member.
Seems to have been good in the past but now has no money being put back into it.
Worst is the lack of security.
