The hostel was in a really great location and had nice features like a roof terrace and a nice lounge area, however the rooms on the top floor were so noisy & people would sit on the roof terrace until late chatting which meant it was quite hard to sleep. Someone also took some of our food from the kitchen even though it was labelled which was quite frustrating and hasn’t happened before at a hostel

This is my first review and was my first hostel stay in Ecuador. The place was nice in the common areas however my room was on the top floor where my room opened up to the outside rooftop. So not as warm as on the other floors. the bathrooms need an upgrade and are quite small. otherwise a nice enough hostel.

I don’t understand why this place has such a good rating. We had to ask twice for them to replace bathroom hand soap, there seemed to be quite a few long term guests/workers who live there and who create a really weird vibe and treat the place like it’s only for them and other guests are in the way. I was pushed out of the way of the stove when cooking, and it was generally a really uncomfortable experience in the social areas.
The shower was either scalding or freezing and the whole place was really loud
