The original Plantation House (PH 1) is a 100 year old coffee plantation house that offers small dormitory and private accommodation with and without ensuite bathrooms, lounge and kitchen facilities.
Plantation House Two (PH 2) is a renovated traditional style farmhouse set in 2 acres of land and is literally across the road from the original Plantation House. In both the Plantation Houses new kitchen and social areas with fireplaces have been constructed.
Salento is an Andean town in Colombia, west of Bogotá. It’s known for its coffee estates. The Plantation Houses have extensive gardens, with a myriad of flowers and native trees and of course a few coffee plants.
This also offers both small dormitory and private accommodation with and without ensuite bathrooms. Both Plantation Houses have gas fired hot water systems. Amongst the many services we offer our guests are WIFI, free internet, kitchen facilities, free coffee, book exchanges and book shop PLUS the best most current and accurate tourist information in Salento.

A pleasant stay in Plantation House. Working WiFi and very hot showers always a plus!

Lovely people, we could do a very nice coffee tour at there farm, location was fine: 5 min walking from the centre. Cute dogs! Despite this, the room was very basic, especially the bathroom. Water from the shower was very limited and the water did not go away, therefore the bathroom was totally wet all time.

I’ll keep it positive bc it served for what I needed: an affordable place to safely come home to each night.
The owners provide a welcome and basic accommodation -matches the price-, with solid internet and hot showers. However, I booked a room w/ bathroom en-suite and the bathroom was actually on the other side of the hallway. The kitchen was dirty every time. Guests ánd staff left dishes dirty. The owners work hard but the staff doesn’t listen well to them.
