Cool idea for the wood but sadly it’s an uncomfortable build as you feel like you’re going to get a splinter all the time. Plus, it attracts bugs in the untreated wood. Bathrooms are very small and the whole place feels more like a barn. However, the staff (man running the place) was LOVELY! Very friendly and accomodating, especially considering we came in at around 4am.

We had the private room for my boyfriend and I. Very comfortable and cosy stay with beautiful views to wake up to. Nice area to sit outside and very nice hosts :) 5m walk to everything. It feels like your sleeping in a beautiful outdoor cabin

More of a camping/homestay vibe than a hostel, but a lovely stay nonetheless.
The family who run the homestay were very friendly and accommodating, even letting us check in early.
We also had a stunning view of the mountains from our window which you would expect to pay a lot more for elsewhere!
Really recommend this if you’re looking for something basic & more authentic-feeling in Sapa
