Lotus Hostel is a new Hostel in the heart of Negombo historical Dutch Colonial, by the street called 'Thaladuwa Road'. Lotus Hostel is ideally budget travelers.
We offer budget beds that offer backpackers rates. We have 4 rooms comprising of large dormitories ranging from 2 persons to 6 persons. All rooms have Fan Cooler.
Be it for casual travelers, backpackers or businesses, we have the basic amenities and services to cater for your needs. Our ground staffs have over 10 years experienced and they are very delighted to serve every customer reach Lotus.
Lotus Hostel is located within walking distance of Negombo City Main Bus Terminal in Negombo.
***Property Policies***
Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 14:00 to 23:00 .
Check out before 11:00 AM.
Payment upon arrival by cash.
Taxes included.
Breakfast included.
No curfew.
We do not accept customers younger than 18 years of age.

Unfortunately - this was not a hostel but someone’s house. We were also overcharged when we landed late and wasn’t fully aware of the exchange rate. Very dirty and would not stay here again.

I booked it for 1 night simply to have a place to stay before my flight. And that's exactly what I got: a place to stay.
It is a very basic accomodation and I would not stay longer than 1 night as there is no common room, no furniture/facilities other than a bed and a mini table to put your backpack on. But it's definitely enough for a night. Very friendly owner.
Very close to negombo bus stand.

The hostel is very basic,it's pretty much a room with a very basic bed and that's it. It feels like you are in someone's house, it's not a very good place to chill. The location is fairly decent and it is clean but it's not somewhere I'd stay for a long time 1 night max.
