The location is great, central. The bunk beds are super noisy and unstable, also the protective bar on top was fixed on the wrong side (at the wall). No curtains at the beds, I personally would recommend them to every hostel! The common area is a bit poor, there could be some hammock or cozy alternatives to chill. There is no proper indoor area, so when it rains it gets a bit chilly outside. No sockets at the top beds and no lights, this could also be improved.

Just not worth the money at all. If you can book in advance just pay the extra few euro to stay in Che. The water pressure is non existent in the showers here and they’re so grimy. There’s no vibe in the hostel at all and it would be really hard to meet people here. So many better hostels in Bacalar! Great location though.

Really lovley hostel, right in the center of the town. Everyone was friendly and the rooms were nice, clean and big. The atmosphere was chill but sociable (perfect for light drinking and playing cards). Would stay here again!
