Hostel La Tribu is the ideal place to spend your best vacations. It is the only place in the Caribbean specially designed to provide comfort and pleasant experiences to the ladies. We have air conditioning, bathroom, and shower in each of the bedrooms. In addition, we have a large kitchen with everything you need, and a social area with a jacuzzi. We cannot ignore the makeup area specially made for ladies.
We are in the center of Puerto Viejo. Just 150m away is the nearest beach. It is very close to supermarkets, pharmacies, clinics, restaurants, and everything you need during your trip.
Our hostel has excellent facilities. Very well designed and we frequently provide proper maintenance for the comfort of our customers. We have cleaning, reception, and security staff.

Cancellation Policy: 2 days before arrival.In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 14.00 to 22.00
Check out before 11.00
Payment upon arrival by cash ,credit and debit card

Honestly. Best hostel of my whole trip. The atmosphere, the facilities (kitchen is a DREAM), the beds with the privacy, bathrooms, jacuzzi, chill area… What a pleasure! Also management and staff were so nice and made everyone feel comfortable. Just wonderful.

This is an unfortunate review to write given almost all other reviews were glowing. This hostel did not live up to the hype. Yes, is is well curated and aesthetically pleasing, but the staff and cleanliness for the place was easily the worst experience I’ve had at any hostel I’ve stayed at. Staff were not friendly, and it felt as though you annoyed them if you asked a question. I wiped up many messes that were not mine, unfortunately people would leave good out overnight. Missed the mark for me.
