This is not a traditional hostel - it’s actually a small room with two beds and a private bath. So in that sense, there is none of the social atmosphere of a backpacker’s hostel. I never saw anyone at all there, as the reception and check in is done remotely, via WhatsApp. I am not a fan of that approach, as it wasn’t without its problems, and the clerk could have been more helpful when I had to call to get into the place. I’d prefer a little less privacy in return for more human interaction.
