”たむら”は大正時代のレトロな家屋を宿泊施設に改装しました。奈良まちや奈良公園も近いので鹿が庭に入ってくることもあります。東大寺、興福寺、国立奈良博物館、元興寺も歩いて行けます。奈良散策にはとても便利です。

Just a nice place with a great host. Might need a little bit more insulation in the cold. Very close to the park and all other places. I would also recommend the small Toy museum a visit.

The hostess goes above and beyond to make you feel at home and comfortable.
Others have mentioned best breakfast in town, but they also have a Japanese-style bath as well as a shower that everyone should try.

I described this place to a fellow traveler as a boutique hostel. There are so many great things about this place. I felt cared for and nourished. I would recommend 100% to anyone seeking to stay a night or three in Nara. You won't be disappointed. Also, buy breakfast, it's the best deal in town.
