La Casa de Cecilia is a small, friendly hostel located by the river in a calm, natural environment but still only a few minutes walk to the central square where many cafés and restaurants are located.
Feel free to ask us about activities such as zip-lining, canyoning, tubing, waterfalls, butterfly farm and chocolate tour. We will be happy to help you!

Check Out: 12.00 am
Method of Payment upon the arrival: Cash.
Breakfast is not included.
Taxes are not included. (12% government tax)
ATM machines
In Mindo there are no ATM machines that work with international cards.
You can bring money with you or another option is to go in a cab from Mindo to a town called San Miguel de los bancos, where there is a time of 20 minutes one way and 20 minutes back, the value of the cab is 12 dollars with waiting; where you can withdraw money from an ATM that works with international cards.
If you have a local bank account in Ecuador you can pay by transfer.
In Cecilia's house we can receive your payments by the TAB payments application with credit card and in the total bill is a value of 5% extra.

バスターミナルから徒歩10分もかからない場所にあり、立地がとてもいいです。小川に面した食堂で朝食を取ることができ、それも気持ちがいいです。そこからハミングバードも見ることができました。シャワーは温かく、水圧もしっかりあります。私は屋根裏部屋のような部屋を借り、気に入っていましたが、小さな虫が入ってくることだけ少し気になりました。仕方がないんだと思いますが…。本当に少しきになる程度です。部屋の掃除やタオル交換など、レセプションに声をかけておくとしっかりとしてくれます。

Beautiful property but a little noisy due to construction from early in the morning and very thin walls and floors. The river and hummingbirds add to the natural ambience :)

Good hostel in a great location just 2 minutes from the centre of Mindo. Good shared kitchen facility which lots of people used - nice way to get chatting to people. The terrace area by the river was the highlight, spotting so much wildlife - we spent a lot of time here. The rooms were quite basic but were all we needed. Remember to bring cash (you can pay for the hostel by card with a 5% addition) but we did find an ATM in the town - it must be new as the hostel’s website page still says there isn’t one.
