This is a great hostel if you're looking for a contrast to your big, chain hostels. The hostel is very small and very social, it feels like a bit slumber party. The rooms, although older, have a homey feel to them as they're done up with paintings, notes, etc. There are 2 full sized individual toilettes which also help to make it feel more homey, & there is also stalls if the main ones are being used.
The walk is a bit further away from the city but not by much (10 mins). There are also many areas to chill

So shiralee hostel is the best one in Perth if you’re reading this and it’s your first time in Perth book this one. I made almost all the other hostel and they all sucks. Shiralee is social you will make a lot of friends , it’s clean there is a big kitchen and it’s not really expensive !
