We are proud to say that we have a really good atmosphere and we are always up for a beer(or seven if you fancy :D)

Delicious individual breakfast (sandwich, boiled egg, yogurt, cake, 2 fruits, chocolate milk, coffee, tea and milk) for only R$18 per person
Towel rental: R$5
Deposit for locker key: R$20 in cash - which is returned when you check out and give us the key back :)

This hostel is great! We had a private room which was ready spacious and clean. The shared kitchen is really well equipped and kept tidy too! The staff were lovely too, Fernando greeted us to the hostel and was really nice. Only thing is the area is a bit dangerous at night (as we were told by a taxi driver) so we were unsure about going out late but we were only two girls so maybe a bigger group wouldn’t have this issue :)

We really liked our stay in Hostel Matilda. The staff were kind and very helpful. They even let us check in early which we appreciate. We had a private room and it was very nice, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, the only thing missing was an oven. The atmosphere was great, friendly and relaxed, we felt very comfortable there. One of the best hostel experiences we had in Brazil.
